Keith Linton on having a life-giving mindset and mentoring today’s youth

Keith Linton, founder of Boys2Gentleman and Girls2YoungLadies

Keith Linton is the founder of Boys 2 Gentlemen and Girls 2 Young Ladies, a non-profit dedicated to enriching children’s social and emotional lives in Watts, California (with plans for beyond!). Growing up in the projects of Brooklyn, Keith knows first-hand the importance of providing opportunities and value to children from under-privledged areas. Through Keith’s resilience, he transitioned into the LAPD and served as a distinguished officer for twelve years, until he discovered his greater passion of empowering direct change in Watts. Today, Keith empowers children in South-Central LA to take advantage of their full potential and face their goals head-on, just like he has.

In this week’s episode you will learn:

The mindset Keith learned early on in life to get where he is today

The lessons he learned on how to approach communities of color when in the police force

How to use your values as a way to inspire change in the areas you’re most passionate about

How to unlock your fullest potential and achieve it - regardless of the odds

…and more!
